handmade lokta paper and nepali paper products.
Lotus Paper
Crafts Pvt Ltd. was established in 1993 with the professional
outcry and initiation of pioneer entrepreneurs with the vision
to develop handmade Nepali paper in the industry. Lotus Paper
Crafts manufactures and exports quality handmade paper and paper
products in abundance. The company believes in emancipating and
in the same context preserving traditional craft of Nepal that
extends back more than thousand years. The focus of the company

associate of Lotus Holdings Private Limited, Lotus Paper Crafts
has been continually gearing its activities towards national

inception Lotus Paper Crafts has been working ahead to promote
Nepali handmade paper products in the international market. Simultaneously,
it has been striving to attain its far-reaching goals of developing
the paper making activities in the country with overall improvements
of socio-economic conditions of the less privileged people, in
the rural as well as the urban areas of the Nepalese society.

Handmade
paper making industries has been one of the most important industries
in supporting the rural economy of the country, especially
women of backward class.
The company
has not only enjoyed its profit among the owner or the shareholders,
it has in fact done a lot for the benefit of its workers. One
can get enough examples to justify the company's inclination,
towards Corporate Social Responsibility.
Abiding
by the principles of the 'Code of Conduct', Lotus Paper Crafts
has been carrying out its social philosophies with utmost priority
being to its employees. It provides provident fund schemes and
bonus schemes. The company provides education facilities to the
children of the employees. It has been providing health care facilities
to its employees as well as their children.
These social
philosophies has been priodically been guided, implemented and
monitored by an NGO named Hoste Hainse, another associate of Lotus
Holdings. Lotus Paper Crafts has been putting aside a decent amount
of money from its sales, which is transferred to Hoste Hainse
for the implementation of the welfare activities for the company's
employees.
