The ARISE yoga mat has a rough and coarse surface that makes it extremely slip-resistant. Many of our customers like the rubbery, firm surface as opposed to the smooth, supple surface of the PURE yoga mat.
Is the ARISE yoga mat slip-resistant?
The ARISE yoga mat is reversible, so you can use it for longer .
When you support yourself with your hand on the mat, you have the feeling of "getting stuck" - the rough surface gives you maximum grip and prevents you from slipping, whether with your hands or feet.
How good is the cushioning of the ARISE yoga mat?
The 4 mm thick mat allows you to practice comfortably, with your elbows, knees or heels always well cushioned. The surface offers stability and is still soft and pleasant on the skin.
How do I best care for the ARISE yoga mat?
The rough, open-pored surface makes the ARISE yoga mat susceptible to dust and lint. However, you can easily clean the mat with a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water (1:1) or our organic yoga mat spray.
The natural rubber smell of natural rubber also fades over time. We recommend using the yoga mat barefoot for longer periods of time and not exposing it to direct sunlight when rolled up.

If you are looking for a non-slip yoga mat, the ARISE is the right choice
If you are looking for a non-slip yoga mat, the ARISE is the right choice. The olive green version is very nice to look at, but you can see dust/dirt more easily than on a light color. It's good that the mat is easy to clean with a damp cloth. If the new rubber smell also goes away, I'll be completely satisfied!
