On our website, we use the Cookiebot Consent Management Platform (“Cookiebot”) to inform you about the cookies and other technologies we use on our website and to obtain, manage and document your consent, where legally required, to the processing of your personal data by these technologies. This is necessary pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. c GDPR to fulfil our legal obligation under Art. 7(1) GDPR to be able to demonstrate your consent to the processing of your personal data. We use the services of Stape Europe OÜ, Harju maakond, Tallinn, Lasnamäe linnaosa, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551, Estonia (“Stape”) for the technical provision of our server-side tracking. Data processing takes place exclusively on servers located in the European Union on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Personal data is not transferred to third countries.
Through the Stape infrastructure, tracking and analytics requests from our website are not transmitted directly to the respective third-party providers, in particular Google, Meta and Microsoft, but are first processed via a server container operated by Stape, Server-Side Google Tag Manager, and then forwarded to the respective providers.
In addition, we use Stape’s “Cookie Keeper” function. This function serves to ensure the storage period specified in our cookie policy for the marketing and analytics cookies used, even if these are prematurely deleted by browser-side mechanisms. For this purpose, an encrypted identifier is stored server-side on Stape’s infrastructure. When you visit our website again, the originally set cookie value can be restored on this basis, provided that the originally intended storage period has not yet expired. Processing beyond the originally intended storage period does not take place. No additional user profiles are created.
Processing takes place only after consent has been given pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG Germany or Section 165(3) TKG 2021 Austria. You may withdraw your consent at any time via our cookie settings with effect for the future. In the event of withdrawal, the identifiers stored server-side by Cookie Keeper will also be deleted.
7.2 Use of Adobe Services
We use the following technologies provided by Adobe Systems, Software Ireland Limited, Ireland, 4–6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24, Ireland (“Adobe”). The information automatically collected by Adobe technologies about your use of our website is usually transmitted to and stored on a server of Adobe, Inc., 345 Park Avenue, San Jose, CA 95110-2704, USA. If your IP address is collected via Adobe technologies, it is shortened or completely replaced by a generic IP address before being stored on Adobe’s servers by activating the corresponding settings.
Adobe Fonts
For the uniform presentation of content on our website, the script code “Adobe Fonts” collects data, such as IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, transmits it to Adobe and is then processed by Adobe. We have no influence over this subsequent data processing. Data processing takes place on the basis of an agreement between joint controllers pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR.
7.3 Use of Google Services
We use the following technologies provided by Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). The information automatically collected by Google technologies about your use of our website is usually transmitted to and stored on a server of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Unless otherwise stated for the individual technologies, data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement concluded for the respective technology between joint controllers pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR. Further information about data processing by Google can be found in Google’s privacy notices.
Google Analytics
For the purpose of website analysis, Google Analytics automatically collects and stores data, such as IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies may be used for this purpose. If you visit our website from the EU, your IP address is stored on a server located in the EU to derive location data and then immediately deleted before the traffic is forwarded for processing on further Google servers. Data processing takes place on the basis of a data processing agreement with Google.
For the purpose of optimised marketing of our website, we have activated the data sharing settings for “Google products and services”. This allows Google to access the data collected and processed by Google Analytics and subsequently use it to improve Google services. Data sharing with Google under these data sharing settings is based on an additional agreement between controllers. We have no influence over the subsequent data processing by Google.
For the purpose of optimised marketing of our website, we use the so-called User ID function. With this function, we can assign a unique, permanent ID to your interaction data from one or more sessions on our online presences and thereby analyse your user behaviour across devices and sessions.
For web analytics, the Google Analytics extension function Google Signals enables so-called cross-device tracking. If your internet-enabled devices are linked to your Google account and you have activated the “personalised advertising” setting in your Google account, Google can create reports on your usage behaviour, in particular cross-device user numbers, even if you change devices. We do not process personal data in this respect; we only receive statistics created on the basis of Google Signals.
For web analytics and advertising purposes, the Google Analytics extension function uses the so-called DoubleClick cookie to recognise your browser when you visit other websites. Google will use this information to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage.
The cookies set by Google Analytics, in particular _ga and _gid, are technically processed via our server-side tracking service provider Stape. To ensure the storage period specified in our cookie policy, we use the “Cookie Keeper” function. Further information can be found under section 7.1.

If you are logged into Google while visiting our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define audience lists for cross-device remarketing.
For website analysis and event tracking, we use Google Ads Conversion Tracking to measure your subsequent usage behaviour if you arrived at our website via a Google Ads advertisement. Cookies may be used for this purpose and data may be collected, such as IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or registering for a newsletter, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms.

In addition, other cookies stored in your browser by Google services are evaluated. Personal data from the input fields of the respective form is neither read nor stored.
Google Fonts
For the uniform presentation of content on our website, the script code “Google Fonts” collects data, such as IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, transmits it to Google and is then processed by Google. We have no influence over this subsequent data processing.
Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager allows us to manage various codes and services on our website. When implementing individual tags, Google may also process personal data, such as IP addresses and online identifiers including cookies. Data processing takes place on the basis of a data processing agreement with Google.

The information automatically collected by Microsoft technologies about your use of our website is usually transmitted to and stored on a server of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. Further information about data processing by Microsoft can be found in Microsoft’s privacy notices.
Microsoft Advertising
For advertising purposes in Bing, Yahoo and MSN search results and on third-party websites, the so-called Microsoft Advertising Remarketing cookie is set when you visit our website. If your internet-enabled devices are linked to your Microsoft account and you have not deactivated the “interest-based advertising” setting in your Microsoft account, Microsoft can create reports on usage behaviour, in particular cross-device user numbers, even if you change devices, known as cross-device tracking. 7.5 Use of Facebook Services
Use of Facebook Pixel
We use Facebook Pixel as part of the technologies described below provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Block J, Serpentine Avenue, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Facebook (by Meta)” or “Meta Platforms Ireland”). Facebook Pixel automatically collects and stores data, such as IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or registering for a newsletter, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. As part of so-called advanced matching, information that can identify individuals, such as names, email addresses and telephone numbers, is also collected and stored in hashed form for matching purposes. For this purpose, Facebook Pixel automatically sets a cookie when you visit our website, which enables your browser to be recognised automatically when you visit other websites by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID. Facebook (by Meta) will combine this information with further data from your Facebook account and use it to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage, in particular personalised and group-based advertising.
The information automatically collected by Facebook (by Meta) technologies about your use of our website is usually transmitted to and stored on a server of Meta Platforms, Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. Further information about data processing by Facebook can be found in Facebook’s privacy notices.
The cookie _fbp set by Facebook Pixel, with an intended storage period of 90 days, is technically processed via our server-side tracking service provider Stape. To ensure this storage period even when browser-side tracking restrictions are used, such as Safari ITP, we use the “Cookie Keeper” function. Further information can be found under section 7.1.
Facebook Analytics
As part of Facebook Business Tools, statistics on visitor activity on our website are created from the data collected by Facebook Pixel about your use of our website. Data processing takes place on the basis of a data processing agreement with Facebook (by Meta). The analysis serves the optimal presentation and marketing of our website.
Facebook Ads
We use Facebook Ads to advertise this website on Facebook (by Meta) and on other platforms. We determine the parameters of the respective advertising campaign. Facebook (by Meta) is responsible for the precise implementation, in particular the decision about where ads are placed for individual users. Unless otherwise stated for the individual technologies, data processing takes place on the basis of an agreement between joint controllers pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR. Joint controllership is limited to the collection of data and its transmission to Meta Platforms Ireland. Subsequent data processing by Meta Platforms Ireland is not covered by this.
On the basis of the statistics created via Facebook Pixel about visitor activity on our website, we operate group-based advertising on Facebook (by Meta) via Facebook Custom Audience by determining the characteristics of the respective target group. As part of the advanced matching used to determine the respective target group, Facebook (by Meta) acts as our processor.
On the basis of the pseudonymous cookie ID set by Facebook Pixel and the collected data about your usage behaviour on our website, we operate personalised advertising via Facebook Pixel Remarketing.
Via Facebook Pixel Conversions, we measure your subsequent usage behaviour for web analytics and event tracking if you arrived at our website via a Facebook Ads advertisement. Data processing takes place on the basis of a data processing agreement with Facebook (by Meta).
