Description
Our yoga mat made of natural rubber and cork is the ideal basis for your practice! It combines the natural properties of cork with a modern design for a focused yoga practice.
Cork has the practical advantage of being even more non-slip in damp and wet conditions
become. The mat offers you optimal support, especially during sweaty sequences. Cork also gives a pleasantly soft and grounding feeling during yoga.
And did you know that cork has antimicrobial properties? The cork cells are closed, so dust and dirt cannot penetrate the mat, which means that it has to be cleaned less often than other mats. The self-cleaning properties of the cork surface make the mat an easy-care underlay.
The underside of the mat is made of natural rubber with 15% recycled content. This ensures that the mat has good cushioning and that it lies securely on the floor. In addition, the natural rubber makes the mat elastic and therefore more durable.
A process in which the natural rubber in liquid form (latex) is coated directly onto the cork means that chemicals can be avoided. These are required in conventional processes when two materials are bonded together. The bond between the two raw materials is also much more stable than materials that are glued together.
The mat is delivered in a lovingly designed paper envelope, which you can use as wrapping paper. We are particularly pleased to be able to do without plastic.
