Meditation mat Zabuton

The Lotuscrafts Zabuton meditation mat offers extra comfort and reliable joint protection during long meditation sessions. Ideal as a base for meditation cushions and colour-matched to our various meditation cushions. The extra thick padding protects knees, feet and ankles from pressure points and cold, supporting a comfortable and stable meditation posture. At the same time, the mat defines your personal meditation space and creates room for calm and reflection.
Filled with multi-layered, pressure-relieving cotton fleece (kbA) from organic cultivation, the Zabuton mat holds its shape, is easy to roll up and long-lasting. A high-quality, timeless meditation mat made of organic materials for more comfort in your meditation sessions.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STANDARD & COMFORT:

Zabuton Standard: This Zabuton measuring 80 x 75 cm has a seat height of about 4 cm and weighs approx. 2.5 kg. The cotton fleece filling is slightly thinner and therefore also lighter than in the Comfort version of our meditation mat. The lower weight makes it easier to handle, while still giving you comfortable support in your meditation. This can be practical if you want to take your Zabuton with you when travelling or to a retreat.

Zabuton Comfort: This Zabuton measuring 80 x 75 cm has a seat height of about 7 cm and weighs approx. 3.5 kg. The cotton fleece filling is more compact and heavier than that of the Zabuton Standard. This means you sit more softly on this version – especially suitable for people who meditate for long periods or simply want a little more support.

We decided to use a uniform cover size for the two Zabuton versions STANDARD and COMFORT and only vary the thickness and weight of the fillings. The advantage is that we can offer several versions and all covers fit both versions.

If you own several Zabutons in different versions, you can swap the covers between them.

Please note: The Zabuton Comfort does not correspond to our former Zabuton Deluxe. The thickness and volume are the same for both versions, but the outer dimensions of our ZB Comfort (75x80cm) are slightly smaller than those of the ZB Deluxe (80x85cm).
